  • Medium Kits show a size of one SU Standard Unit.
  • Kits have been calculated for the maintenance of 48 well MEA-plates dedicated for two media changes or for the maintenance of 24 well coverslips dedicated for four media changes. Besides, we provide kits for 24 well plates assigned for four media changes, including required seeding supplements.
  • NPS medium Kit CD and CM for suspension contain a seeding and a maintenance medium, as well as Laminin and FDU (5-fluoro-29-deoxyuridine).
  • The seeding medium contains DMEM (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium), 10% horse and 10% fetal calf serum plus additional supplements.
  • The maintenance medium contains DMEM, supplements, and ten % horse serum. Laminin, as an extracellular matrix protein, prepares the substrate surface of the plate. FDU is used in vitro between 3-5 days to stop glia mitosis.
  • Kit TD and Kit TM contain in addition to NPS medium Kits CD and CM, the enzymes DNase I and Papain. For further information, please ask.
